Council Tax - Scrap it don't tinker with it!

The Liberal Democrats are again calling for the Council Tax to be scrapped. After seeing more Council Tax rises above inflation and ahead of the Conservatives offer to reduce the Council Tax bills for pensioners The Liberal Democrats are saying "Scrap it don't tinker with it!"

Ed Davey, Liberal Democrat ODPM spokesperson said "The Liberal Democrat proposals to scrap Council Tax will save the average pensioner far more than the Tory plans, with more than half of pensioners would paying no Local Income Tax at all."
