The Liberal Democrats want to build a fair, free and open society, in which no-one is enslaved by poverty, ignorance or conformity.

We believe in localism, that all forms of government are there to enable all citizens to develop their talents.

For Croydon, our proposals aim to achieve the following:

  • Tackling crime

  • Protecting the environment

  • Improving local transport

  • Sorting out Croydon's finances
